"The movement is what I'm looking for. It's good fun."

In addition to the forward's six goals on his first game, Ireland has scored eight in 3 games for Wythenshawe, while George Boyd scored 5 on his debut appearance and Joleon Lescott, a centre-half by position, notched a hat-trick in one match up front.

One opponent, 38, who plays on the wing for the opposition, came up against ex- Wigan defender Maynor Figueroa on the weekend - and had to tell his young boy who Emile Heskey was.
